Welcome to Greystoke House
Greystoke House is a fully self-contained, open plan, brand new two bedroom home situated in a rural, relaxed environment, yet still close enough to the township of Warkworth and a 15 minute drive to the popular Matakana township which boasts some remarkable restaurants, and the well-known farmers market. Greystoke House is within a close proximity to wonderful vineyards and wedding venues within the region, as well as fabulous beaches, bush walks and cycle tracks.
Greystoke House offers more than just simply a one night stay, rather an opportunity to escape to the country for a relaxing weekend to enjoy the tranquility and to enjoy all that is on offer within this area. Greystoke House has been specifically designed to meet all of your requirements. It has been completed to the highest of standards by Warkworth Builders.
Greystoke House is very light and sunny, and the living area opens on to a large sun-drenched deck. It has two good sized bedrooms, one with an ensuite.
There are to be no parties, no smoking and no pets. This guest house is situated on the front of our property. It is very private, yet we are only a stones throw away if you need any help or assistance.
OUR SERVICES
Breakfast
Breakfast is an optional extra. Please advise if you would like breakfast at the time of confirming reservation.
Cost $18 per person.
Breakfast includes: Home-made toasted muesli, fresh fruit, yoghurt, milk, toast, preserves and juice.
Bedrooms
Bedroom One has a Queen size bed, 43" television, two suitcase racks, a heat pump and an ensuite with a good size shower, hand basin and toilet.
Bedroom Two has a Super King Bed or it can be altered to become two single beds and has two suitcase racks, and a heat pump.
All linen is provided
Spa
Greystoke House provides a secluded, private spa pool which is a lovely way to end the day relaxing with a glass of wine and gazing at the stars. The spa pool cover is lockable to prevent young children from entering. Children must be supervised by an adult whilst in the spa at all times. Children are not the hosts responsibility.
Kitchen
Greystoke House offers a fully self-contained kitchen.
The kitchen includes a free-standing 900cm Fisher & Paykel oven with a gas hob, a large fridge/freeze, a Nespresso machine, toaster, kettle, micowave, dishwasher, cutlery, plates etc.
Living areA
The open-plan lounge/dining is sunny and light and opens onto a large deck.
The living area contains a 58" television, sound-bar to connect your phone to play your desired music, a fan, heat pump/air con. and wifi.
Bathroom & laundry
The main bathroom has been designed to accommodate people with wheelchairs and contains grab rails and the correct dimension toilet and vanity.
A hair dryer, body wash and shampoo & conditioner are provided for your stay.
The laundry has a washing machine, drier, ironing board and iron.
oUTDOOR Living
There is also a Webber gas bbq, outdoor table and chairs, a large sun umbrella and a spa which comfortably fits six adults.

The Greystoke House also offers, air conditioning, free Wi-Fi, TV and free parking.

Matakana region is known for it's wonderful wineries. A list is contained in our in-house catalogue.
THE MARKET
Every Saturday morning, Matakana is buzzing with activity at the Farmers market where you can sample a delicious range of fresh products.
lEISURE
The surrounding area hosts numerous bush walks and cycle tracks. There are three golf courses in close proximity. Another fun activity is to swim amongst the fish at Goat Island.
hORSE Riding
McKenzie horse riding is very close, about a 7 minute drive from Greystoke House.

Please note, if the booking is for two guests, the second bedroom is unavailable unless previously arranged.
Our cancellation policy is a full refund if the booking is cancelled 5 days prior to your arrival.
